July was sooo much fun to make! If you follow me on Instagram, (and if you don’t, you should!!) you probably participated in voting for this month’s theme! It was between the fourth of July / America theme and a wave theme. You guys voted for the wave theme and I’m so happy that you did! It took some serious creativity on my part because I couldn’t really find any other bullet journalists on Pinterest or Instagram that have done this theme before.
I lost my tombow calligraphy pens so I have to painstakingly draw out all my titles and make them look like I drew them with a brush pen lol. It took me twice as long to do all the titles, but I’m not that upset that they’re gone because they were honestly really hard to use. What do you use for small titles in your bullet journal? The tombows just aren’t cutting it for me anymore. Comment on my video and let me know what your favorite brush pens to use are.
Watch me draw out all my spreads for July in the video below, then scroll through the photos to see the finished look! I hope you love it as much as I do!
Here is the cover page! I love how it turned out. It’s simple but colorful and fun.
I haven’t done a quote page in such a long time and this was really fun to do.
Here is my video planner for YouTube and IGTV. The last few months I used an editorial calendar, which was a large calendar spread across both pages, and I wrote down what posts I was going to do and videos I was going to upload for each week. It didn’t really work that well for me after I stopped posting so much on my blog and started my YouTube channel.
I needed a place to brainstorm video ideas and a place to write down the final list of videos for that month. This is so much better because I have much more room to write down all my ideas, and I also have a guide at the top of the first page to make sure I stay consistent with when I post my videos.
Here is my month spread! I totally messed up the dates on all of my calendars by the way 🙁 which makes me really sad but I can go back and fix it with white out.
I’m trying out a larger calendar this month! I really like this style (inspired by @kuroristudies).
And of course I have to have a goals section!
Okay so this habit tracker was actually more annoying to make than last months lol. But I still like the way it turned out. I still haven’t found a habit tracker that I really love, but this one will do the job for now!
I am absolutely in love with this mood tracker. I kind of just went with my creative instincts on this one. I knew I wanted some sort of accent color in at least one of my pages for this month, so I drew a little sunset in the center. And I’m obsessed <3
This spread is inspired by @thejournalishome. I saw this on pinterest and I fell in LOVE. Definitely go follow her on Instagram because she has some great spreads.
And thats it for the July set up! I was a little hesitant to do something that no one has ever done before but I love the way it turned out.
PS. I’m in a coffee shop right now trying to write this post and there are these two girls and their dad talking (in loud voices) about all their family problems and the whole coffee shop can hear them lol PLEASE GO HOME
Hahahah so anyways comment your thoughts and follow me on Instagram for more photos! Hope you enjoyed this months theme!!
